With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Victor M. DeSousa of Assonet, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Manuel C. DeSousa. He is survived by: his mother Deolinda DeSousa (Goulart); his wife Bella DeSousa (Caetano); his siblings, Robert DeSousa (Tara) of Assonet, Elsa Silveira (Manny) of Taunton, Olga Costa of Assonet and Maria Lattimore (Van) of Taunton; his mother-in-law Herminia Felix of Assonet; his stepchildren, Ally Rodriguez of Taunton and Nathan Tavares of Assonet; and his grandchildren, Miranda and Elan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Saint Anthony Church (126 School St, Taunton, MA 02780). A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar St. Anthony Church (126 School St, Taunton, MA 02780).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Victor's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
