William Moffett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Moffett of Assonet, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Moffett and Shirley Moffett (Ward); and his sibling Terry Moffett. He is survived by: his wife Melissa A. Moffett (Coelho) of Bill's Truck Repair; his children, William T. Moffett Jr., Sean Z. Moffett, Natalie V. Moffett, Jack and Jonathan Moffett; his siblings, Karen Barry (late Billy Barry) of San Diego, CA, Patricia Dal Ponte (Fred) of San Diego, CA, Jeanne Doyle of Pennsylvania and John Moffett of San Diego, CA; his niece Shannon Ziswasser (Jason); his great-nephew Nathan; his great-niece Hailey; his nephews, Jamie Doyle (Blair Raphael) and Brian Barry (Ron Reyes); and his in-laws, Michelle Coelho and David Coelho Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home (1521 N Main St, Fall River, MA 02720). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:10 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the St. Bernard's Church (30 S Main St, Assonet, MA 02702).
