It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna J. Blackmer (Athol, Massachusetts), born in Orange, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 11, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Napthali H. Coffin and Hazel E. Coffin (Green); her husband Kenneth W. Blackmer; and her siblings, Louise LaChance, Evelyn Copeland, Alice M. Crowe, Joan A. Truehart and Richard N. Coffin.
She is survived by : her children, Kent W. Blackmer (Bonnie) of Milton, VT, Susan C. Muther (Edmund) of Athol, MA and Jennifer H. Blackmer of Athol, MA. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edna's name to St. John's Episcopal Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
