It is with sadness that the passing of Joseph A. Kaczmarczyk of Athol, Massachusetts is shared. Joseph, born on August 25, 1940, passed away on September 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Kay; and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kaczmarczyk (Sanger); his son Steven; his brothers, Sam (Joan), Anthony Jr. (Patricia) and Thomas; and his sisters-in-law, Cynthia Kaczmarczyk, Sheila McGuire (Michael) and Margaret Mottashed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mack Family Funeral Homes, Athol-Orange Chapel (110 New Athol Rd, Orange, MA 01364). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Immaculate Church (192 School St, Athol, MA 01331).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Athol Council on Aging Memory Cafe, a group that supports individuals with Dementia, at 82 Freedom Street, Athol.
