With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward James Cochrane of Attleboro, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene L. Cochrane (Dolan); his child Laurie J. Hutchinson; and his parents, Gerard Cochrane and Kathleen Cochrane (Murphy). He is survived by: his children, Maureen L. Tomasso, Donna A. Carpenter (Bruce Carpenter) of Attleboro, MA, Eileen M. McCormack (Jay McCormack) of South Carolina, Kathleen A. Johnson (Robert Johnson) of North Attleboro, MA, Edward J. Cochrane Jr. (Lisa Cochrane) of East Sandwich, MA and Ryan P. Cochrane (Cristy Cochrane) of Attleboro, MA.; his brother Charles K. Cochrane of Plainville, MA.; his grandchildren, Tanya Carpenter, Juliana Carpenter, Michael McCormack, Shane McCormack, Meghan McCormack, Ceili Cochrane, Delaney Cochrane, Nolan Cochrane, Broden Cochrane, Declan Cochrane, Riley Cochrane, Kamryn Cochrane, Kenzie Cochrane, Sheryl Hutchinson, Kevin Tomasso and Jaclyn Rosa; his stepgrandchildren, Robert Johnson, Kellie Johnson and Kaylin Goodhue; and his great grandchild Jayden Hutchinson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home (161 Commonwealth Ave, Attleboro Falls, MA 02763).
