She was predeceased by: her husband David Edward Merkle. She is survived by: her sons, Philip H. Merkle (Cynthia Merkle) of La Quinta, CA, Wayne H. Merkle of Attleboro, MA and Keith D. Merkle (Cathy Merkle) of Attleboro, MA; her granddaughters, Dawn B. Slack (George Slack) of Providence, RI, Hana Moore (Brendan Moore) of San Francisco, CA and Sarah C. Merkle of Los Angeles, CA; her great grandchildren, Sydney T. Slack of Providence, RI, Sierra T. Slack of Providence, RI and Julian Moore of San Francisco, CA.; and her brother Ron Mendler.
