In loving memory of Joan F. Denton of Attleboro, Massachusetts, born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, who departed this world on May 18, 2025 at the age of 88. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shepard and Edith Shepard (Dimeo); and her husband Edwin Denton. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Denton (Roberta) of Pawtucket, RI, Scott Denton (Tracey) of Wareham, Thomas Denton (Tori) of Westfield and John Denton (Savannah) of Las Vegas, NV.; her brother Henry "Butch" Shepherd (Marilyn) of Bridgewater; and her brother-in-law James Denton (Becky) of Bridgewater. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery (103 Center St, Bridgewater, MA 02324).
