He is survived by: his father Anthony Avellar of Attleboro, MA; his daughter Shawna Avellar of Pawtucket, RI; his grandson Michael Joseph Avellar of Pawtucket, RI; his siblings, Anthony A. Avellar, Deborah A. Messier of South Attleboro, MA, Brenda J. Avellar of Attleboro, MA and Eric A. Avellar of Attleboro, MA; and his close friend Elaine Walker of North Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
