He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Pickering; his brother-in-law David O'Connor; and his nephew Ian Pickering. He is survived by: his mother Betty Pickering (Lemmo); his siblings, David Pickering (Laurie) of Falmouth, MA, Claudia J. Rose (Alfred) of North Carolina, Susan O'Connor of Rhode Island and Robert Pickering of Florida; his nephews, Kevin Pickering of Charleston and Joel Pickering of Falmouth, MA; and his niece Jennifer Bergevine of Barrington, RI.
