It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Ann Dunkerton of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Northampton, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David A. Dunkerton; and her parents, Donald Fuess and Lillian Fuess. She is survived by: her children, Marcia Thompson (James) of New Bern, NC and Lorne Dunkerton (Barbara) of Charlton; her grandchildren, Christian and Lillian; her siblings, Donald, John Fuess and Elizabeth Scott; and her close friends, Donna, Larry Murphy, Debbie, Eddie Emond, Maxine and Robin Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
