Backlin of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 51, on July 7, 2022. She is survived by: her parents, David Backlin and Shirley Backlin (Anderson) of Auburn; her siblings, Cheryl A. Scanlon (Daniel) of Auburn, Wendy Duncan (Philip) of Auburn and Timothy Backlin (Lori) of Auburn; her siblings' children, Bethany, David, Marcus, Nicholas, Jenna, Erin, Matthew and Kayla; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail, Noah, Emmalyn, Elijah, Logan, Calvin and Judah; and her pets, Maya and Copper.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to UMASS Memorial Foundation in support of the Transplant Patient Assistance Fund (checks can be made payable to UMMF with a memo of 'in Memory of Kirsten Backlin').
