He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Dooley" Dumas and Ruth Dumas (McLaughlin); his siblings, Paula, Mary and Greg; and his nephew Stephen Dumas.

He is survived by: his children, Lee Dumas (Cazimir) and Joseph Dumas (Dana); his granddaughter Eleanor; his close friend Linda; his friend Barry Foss; his sibling's children, Theresa Stone, Rachel Dumas, Charles Vrba, Geoffrey Vrba, John Vail and Michele Vail; Lia Kish (Brendan). He is also survived by family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Never Retreat Foundation (neverretreat.org).
