He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Sliney (Bradley); and his parents, John "Jack" and Winifred "Freda" Sliney (Brook). He is survived by: his daughters, Marcella Sliney (Brendan Gilroy) of South Boston and Ann Marie Kelleher (Ruby) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Kieran, Ailish Kelleher of Plymouth and Colmn Gilroy of South Boston; and his siblings, Michael Sliney (Alison) of London, UK and Theresa Sliney of London, UK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
