He is survived by : his son Garrett Hehir; his grandchild Mackenzie Hehir of Auburn; his sisters, Colleen Nickerson (Robert) of Auburn, Susan Hehir of West Boylston and Laurie Hehir of Auburn; his former life partner Ann Hehir (O'Leary) of Auburn; his friend James "Jim" Herlihy; and his daughter Mackenzie. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
