He is survived by: his wife Louise Medeiros (Spinucci); his daughters, Amanda McLaughlin and Cristina Medeiros; his son-in-law Anthony McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Manuel, Amilio and Ollie; and his siblings, Odete, Álvaro, José, Lurdes and Dina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
