We announce the death of Allan T. Galpin Jr. of Ayer, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 12, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Galpin and Allan T. Galpin (Rex); and his sister Barbara Wade. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Galpin (Todd Picthall) of North Andover, Michelle Estrada (Pedro) of Wakefield and Andrew Galpin (Rachel) of Westford; his grandchildren, Marie, Robert, Olivia, Colin, Cameron, Anna and Ryan; his nephew Stephen Wade of Ledyard, CT; his nieces, Karen Hennessy of West Boylston and Paula Jessen of Winsted, CT.; Sharon Galpin.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home - Arlington (5 Chestnut St, Arlington, MA 02474). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (32 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Allan's memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Cor Unum Meal Center, Lawrence.
