Catherine Previte Obituary
In loving memory of Catherine Previte of Ayer, Massachusetts, who departed this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 102. Catherine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Carbone and Mary Carbone (Rauseo); her husband John J. Previte; her siblings, Victor Carbone and Pricsilla Melanson; and her son-in-law John Sullivan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elena Christopher (Paul) of Lunenburg, MaryAnne York of Beverly, Cathy Sullivan of Tyngsboro and Jean Perrone (Sal) of Billerica; her sister Sylvia Bonomo (Anthony) of Wakefield; and her niece Vickie Maskell of Boston. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home - Ayer (25 Fitchburg Rd, Ayer, MA 01432). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (25 Fitchburg Rd, Ayer, MA 01432). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the North Cemetery (71 Holman St, Lunenburg, MA 01462).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fitchburg Art Museum, 185 Elm St. Fitchburg, MA 01420.
