He was predeceased by : his father Yow Wah Chin; his daughter Sabrina Lai Har Chin; and his sister Suk Yee Chin. He is survived by : his mother Oy Kim Chin (Woo); his daughter Carmella Lai Won Chin; his brother Albert Chin; his granddaughters, Sabrina (Asia Davila) and Ellen Feliciano; and his stepchildren, Mayner and Rosie Feliciano.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
