It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Anne Bergfors of Barnstable, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McNear Pitcher and Harriet Pitcher (Wahl); her husband Carl W. Bergfors, Jr.; and her sister Mary Gabriel (Polly). She is survived by: her children, Carl W. Bergfors III of Barnstable, Peter M. Bergfors of Barnstable and Kristin Bergfors Thompson (Joseph) of Kiawah Island, SC.; her grandchildren, Benjamin Thompson (Hilary) of Annapolis, MD, Andrew Thompson (Alison) of Tarrytown, NY and Molly Thompson McGill (Alex) of Longmeadow, MA; and her great grandchildren, Carly, Penelope Thompson, Caleb Thompson, Charlie and Henry McGill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and will be missed by friends and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Episcopal Church (3055 Main St, Barnstable, MA 02630).
