It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Francis Bonavita Sr. of Barnstable, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Sebastiano Bonavita and Alice Bonavita; his son Jerome (Elizabeth Bonavita); his grandchildren, John Gangi, Lexi and Dyanna; his son Richard Jr. (Jeanne Bonavita); his granddaughter Angelica; his daughter Katherine (John Scibilia); his grandchildren, Jarod, Mariah Maggio, Jonathan, Ashley Scibilia, Alex (Rachel Scibilia), William and Nicole Losasso; his son Michael Bonavita; his great grandchildren, Ella, Jake Gangi, Mayonna, Xavier Maggio, Reina Scibilia, Noel and Will Losasso; and his son Raymond Dumas (Skip).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that a donation to St Jude's Hospital be made in his name, as our father was a lifetime supporter of this charity and their work with children.
