She was predeceased by: her mother Aino Kansanen (Karvinen); and her siblings-in-law, Kevin McShane and Claire Despres. She is survived by: her father Jaakko Kansanen of Finland; her husband Robert A. McShane of Barre; her daughters, Samantha Cahill (Dan Cahill) of Worcester and Maureen McShane (Will Collier) of Barre; her granddaughter Claudia Cahill; and her siblings, Lisa Murphy of Rutland, Jari Kansanen (Maura McSweeney), Juha Kansanen and Jorma Kansanen (Debra Bernard). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces/nephews and loyal close friends.
