Bruce J. Hoyt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce J. Hoyt (Bedford, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bette M. Hoyt (Stetson); and his parents, Harold J. and Grace Hoyt (Piirainen). He is survived by: his children, Bruce Hoyt J. (Lynn) of Gulf Port, MS, Lisa Hurley (William) of St. Augustine, FL, Darlene Barsalou of Deering, NH, Aprille Abbott (Scott) of Billerica, Harold Hoyt (Andrea) of Tyngsboro and Gregory Hoyt (Ann) of Billerica; and his sister Brenda Soubosky of Hudson, NH. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home (66 Concord Rd, Billerica, MA 01821). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (426 Davis Rd, Bedford, MA 01730). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fox Hill Cemetery (130 Andover Rd, Billerica, MA 01821).
