He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Knell and Annie Knell; his wife Mary Lou Knell; and his son Matthew Knell. He is survived by: his children, David Knell (Alice) and Cheryl Stebe (Thomas) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth Knell, Ryan and Evan Stebe; and his sister-in-law Ruth Adams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bedford Funeral Home (167 Great Rd, Bedford, MA 01730). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Newton Cemetery (791 Walnut St, Newton Centre, MA 02459).
