He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Brown and Minnie Brown (Dunlap); his son George Jr.; and his siblings, Hazel Zitka, Edith Owen, Betty LaBrecque, Thomas Brown, Kenneth Brown, Albert Brown, Glenrose Rollett, Madeline Lyon, June Blomberg and Shirley Desroches.

He is survived by : his wife Donna L. Brown (Leavitt); and his great grandchildren, Hunter Gosselin, Tyler Hubbard (Callie), Amber Betsold (Andrew), Brandon Gosselin and Crystal Rappoccio.
