It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Messier of Belchertown, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Messier and B. Freida Messier (Ruel); his son Timothy Messier; and his siblings, Clement, Richard Messier and Jacqueline Kurtz.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine J. Messier (Bourgault) of Belchertown; his children, Robert C. Messier Jr. (Janice) of Granby, TX, Louise Bohannon (Doug) of Brewster, MA, Michael Messier (Lori) of Hopkinton, MA and Christine Harris (Gregg) of Burlington, VT; his stepdaughters, Cynthia Beaudry of Flagler Beach, FL and Laura Grondin of Wells, ME; and his sister Patricia Thiebe of South Hadley.
