Larney Jr. of Bellingham, Massachusetts, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John P. Larney, Sr. and Juliana Larney (Schaefer); and his brother-in-law Dennis Daun. He is survived by : his wife Paula Kairit; his children, John P. Larney, III of Franklin, Erin Themig (Ryan) of Littleton and Tom Larney (Additionally) of Newton, Mass; his grandchildren, Alexandra and Tyler Themig; and his sisters, Mary Daun of Illinois, Frances Neuwirth (Steph) of Florida and Juliana (Tom) of Pennsylvania.

“To John's wife Paula, his children John, Erin, Tom, and families, Please accept my heartfelt condolences in the passing of your beloved husband and father. John was a very special person in my life as in the lives of all who knew him. He was a "bigger than life" figure in everything he was involved with, especially the Boy Scouts of America of which he lived the Scout Oath and promise, Motto, and Slogan each day.
