She was predeceased by : her parents, Elbridge Besaw and Louise Besaw (Taylor); her adoptive parents, Levi Gibney and Lorene Gibney (Besaw); and her brother Paul Besaw.

She is survived by : her husband Gerald; her children, Paul Meyette (Dorian) of Pawtucket, RI, Carol Bedford of Woonsocket, RI and Laurie Palmer (Loren) of Johnston, RI; her siblings, Rodney Besaw of Utah, Ryan Besaw of Florida and Sandra Besaw Pack of Florida; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Christine, Denise, Allison, Danielle, Patrick, Riley, Sarah, Laura, Beth and Amanda. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; & 1 great-great granddaughter.
