He was predeceased by : his wife Kathy Desmarais (Lafleur); his parents, Leo Desmarais and Paula Desmarais (Levesque); and his brothers, Roland Desmarais and Leo Desmarais.

He is survived by : his close friend Carmela T. Desmeule of Bellingham; his son Vincent P. Desmarais of Venice, FL.; and his brother Ernest Desmarais (Theresa) of Bellingham, MA.
