Athena McInnis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athena McInnis of Belmont, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 23, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George; her siblings, Electra Miller and Alexander Yphantis; her sister-in-law Charlotte Yphantis; and her great grandchild Zachary Kane.
She is survived by: her daughters, Aluna Michaels and Leslie Kane; her grandsons, Steven, Shaun and Scott Kane; and her great grandchild Lucas Kane. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Plymouth Congregational Church (582 Pleasant St, Belmont, MA 02478).
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to Boston's Children's or St. Jude's Hospital.
