We bid farewell to Barbara Ann McGurl of Belmont, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Barbara Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Doyle and Michael Doyle. She is survived by: her husband John T McGurl; her siblings, Imelda Doyle Doherty and Robert Vincent Doyle; her siblings-in-law, George B Doherty, Marjory Sullivan Doyle and Maureen Mawn McGurl; her daughters, Mary McGurl Humphrey and Barbara Ann McGurl; her son-in-law Steven Humphrey; her niece Carol Doherty Barera (John); her children, Paul, Carol, Catherine, David and Jayne Brady Haley; her caregiver Fran Mulvey; and also Kathryn Crawley. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeVito Funeral Home (1145 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Saint Eulalia Church (50 Ridge St, Winchester, MA 01890).
