She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Sgrosso and Erminia Sgrosso (Mauriello); her husband Libero Abruzzese; her daughter Sabrina Abruzzese; and her brother Giuseppe Sgrosso of Avellino, Italy..
She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Lisa Conte of North Reading and Ivana Abruzzese of Belmont; her grandchildren, John and Daniella; and her siblings, Elio Sgrosso of Lexington, Antonio Sgrosso of Waltham and Assunta Pecci of Watertown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
