It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margot Burge in Belmont, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 4, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Madeleine Oudin and Christopher Burge; her siblings, Samantha Burge and Axel Burge; her aunts and uncles, Nicolas Oudin, Su Yi Lee, Sara Burge and Miguel Rodriguez; her grandparents, Karen, Philippe Oudin, Mary Burge, Boyce Burge and Linda Lotspeich; her cousins, Tate, Lea and Camille; and her caregivers, Arleen Kattel, Pam Kimera and Alex Beamud.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the SCN8A Epilepsy Research Fund at Tufts University, which will directly support her parents' research into mechanisms of SCN8A and the development of new therapies for this disorder. ((LINK HERE)).
