We announce the death of Mary Agnes Chemelli of Belmont, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 89. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Debra Evans; her children-in-law, Daniel and Mary Ann Chemelli; and her brothers, John Corcoran (Jack), Joseph, Thomas and Austin Vincent Corcoran.
She is survived by: her husband William J. Chemelli; and her grandchildren, Sean Evans and Lisa Marie Evans Carney (Chris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Luke Church (132 Lexington St, Belmont, MA 02478). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to The American Red Cross Regional Headquarters 180 Rustcraft Road, Dedham, MA 02026 or a charity of your choice.
