He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julio Lopes and Cotilda Lopes (Medeiros); his wife Margaret "Peggy" Lopes (Fournier); his sister Natalie Marie (Manny Marie); his children, Melissa Lopes-McKenna (John McKenna), Jeffery Lopes (Cheryl Nye) and Timothy Lopes (Alison); and his siblings, Joseph Lopes, Mary Dorato and James Lopes. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
