Henry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Henry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Henry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Monkowski and Genevieve Monkowski (Brozyna); and his sons, Henry and Troy Monkowski. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his daughter Doreen Monkowski; his daughter-in-law Lorrin Monkowski; and his siblings, Alfred Monkowski and Diane Magnuson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home (280 Bedford St, Lakeville, MA 02347). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
