She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert Brown; her children, Travis Yonn, Wendy Jarchow (Jason), Jennifer Hihn (George) and Ali Brown; her grandchildren, Andrew, Jada, Jack, Beatrice, Luke and Sammy; and her sisters, Martha Hofstetter (Michael) of Maine and Margaret Demeter of North Carolina.
