He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Gaunt and Aileen Casey Gaunt; and his wife Simone M. Normand. He is survived by: his daughters, Monique Mullaney-Senecal (Paul) of Adamstown, MD, AnnMarie Cairns of Adams and Christine Chaffee (Ashley) of Pittsfield; his grandchildren, Christopher Cripps, Thomas Mullaney, III (Audrey), James Mullaney, Sebastian Cronze, Ashley Chaffee, Madilyn Chaffee and Mia Chaffee; his sister Susan Morin of North Carolina; and his son-in-law Jacob Cairns of Clarksburg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM and on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (191 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Elder Services of Berkshire County or Brightside for Families and Children (founded by the Sisters of Providence in 1873) in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
