He was predeceased by: his parents, James I. Brown and Rose S. Maloney Brown. He is survived by: his husband Robert Chok; his children, David (Pittsfield) and Ryan Brown (Boston); the mother of his children Diane Brown; his siblings, Dan Brown (Muriel), Jim Brown, Susan Brown and Anne Brown; and his pets, Taitt and Deva.
