He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic Brown and Florence Brown (Gillett); his wife Joan Harmon; his brother Robert; and his great grandchild Adin Peter.
He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Robin) of Tucson, AZ, David (Donna) of Monterey and Stephen (Lynn) of Ghent, NY; his grandchildren, Nathan, Mark, Andrew (Jusdina), Christopher (Matthew), Jessica (Chuck), Alexander, Adam (Stacey) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Asher, Sienna, Hadley, George and Graham; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann. He is also survived by three nieces, a nephew, and his beloved cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Congregational Church (251 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230).
