He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis T. Murphy and Mary Jane Robinson Murphy; his wife Joan E. Duda; and his siblings, Margaret Gregory, Anne Carroll, Rita Welch, Catherine Higgins, Mary Ellen Goodnow, Bernard, Michael and William Murphy.
He is survived by: his son Joe Murphy (Sharon); his grandchildren, Haylee of South Glastonbury, Conn. and Nyiah of Holiday, Fla.; his sister-in-law Jackie Lemmerhirt; and his siblings, John, Patrick, Mark and Patricia Jarvis. He is also survived by numerous relatives: cousins, nephews and nieces.
Memorial donations in Tom's memory may be made to the Berkshire County Jimmy Fund or JDRF in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
