He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Marie Sawyer (Spinney). He is survived by: his father Lawrence "Skip" Sawyer; his wife Janet; his sons, Guy and Jonathan; and his siblings, Larry and Linda. He is also survived by niece, nephews, a great-nephew, great-nieces.
