He was predeceased by: his daughter Katie Rooney; his sister Maryann Rooney; and his mother Elizabeth Rooney. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rooney (Normand); his children, Justin Rooney of Leicester, Christine Rooney and Elizabeth Rooney (Beth Monahan) of Worcester; his granddaughter Hailey Rooney; his stepdaughters, Melissa Nystrom and Katie Kourembis of Lowell; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Owen, Violet and Roman.
