She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Lovell and Dexter Lovell. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hutchinson; her children, Chris (Kim) of Marblehead, MA and Courtney (Brooks) of Washington, DC; and her grandchildren, Stewart, James, Ben, Caroline, Russell and Katie.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Columba's Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to St. Columba's Episcopal Church in Washington, DC or to the Orpheum Theater in Chatham, MA.
