Courtney E. Prime Obituary

Courtney Prime, 48, passed away on January 14, 2026, in Beverly, Massachusetts. She was born on January 3, 1978, in Salem, Massachusetts. She lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering love, and a deep commitment to those she held dear.

Courtney pursued her education at North Shore Community College and later at Lesley University, where she majored in Business and Wellness. Her dedication to learning reflected in her drive and determination, qualities that defined her throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy and Kirsten Lane, Marina Hall, Tanya Lane and Adam Blackburn, Alyssa Lane and Rodrigo Prado, and Jaelynne Knikker (13). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jayda Lane (11), Calleigh Prime (4), Brooklyn Blackburn (2), Troy Lane (18 months), and Kylee Lane (2 months); her ex-husband, Scott Lane; her siblings, April Cahill, Richard Prime Jr, Rhonda Hamlin, Steve and Kim Prime. Each of them carries forward a part of her spirit, her warmth, her resilience, and the love she so freely gave.

Courtney was predeceased by her mother, Arlene (Brown) Prime; her father, Richard Prime; her sister, Brandy Rodriguez, and her brother, John Prime. Their memories remain intertwined with hers in the hearts of those who remember them.

May Courtney's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. She is held in love, held in memory, held forever in strength.

A visitation will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 3:30 to 7:30 pm at the Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.
