He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford E. Boland and Helen Boland (Robinson); his wife Carol Patricia "Pat" McCabe; and his siblings, Dorothy S. Boland of Richmond, VA and Thomas E. Boland of Alpharetta, GA..
He is survived by: his sons, Fletcher Boland (Sarah) of Marblehead and Collins Boland (Sara Beth) of Salem; his brother Daniel W. Boland of Loveland, CO; and his grandchildren, Dylan and Leora Boland of Marblehead.
