He is survived by: his mother Hester Christina Tibbets (Palmer) of Whitefield; his wife Deborah Tibbets; his children, Douglas Tibbets (Amanda) of Dracut, Katie Tibbets (Patrick Ruelle) of Beverly and Nicholas Tibbets (Kaitlin) of Biddeford, Maine.; his grandson Samuel; and his sister Lynne Stiefvater (Jim) of Virginia.
