It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Thompson (Beverly, Massachusetts), born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Simon and Adelle "Ida" Simon (Yuenis); and her siblings, Alice Travers (Scarborough), Yvonne Simon, Laurice Ryan, Lee Giuliano, George Simon, Alfred Simon and Ray Simon.
She is survived by: her husband Dick Thompson; her daughter Helen; her sister Lou Lou; her close friend Maria; her caregivers, Anthony, Marni, Janeen, Sugeidy, Solange, Wendy, Betty, Ellen, Yuster and Alexa; her children, Michael Thompson, Kimberle McGarry (James) of Hamilton, MA and Lee Ann Thompson (Kenneth Sherman) of Beverly, MA; her sister Arlena Tarin (Phil) of Newport Beach, CA.; and her grandchildren, Michael Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Caroline McGarry, Shane Sherman Thompson and Sean Sherman Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 27 Old Planters Rd, Beverly, MA 01915.
