He was predeceased by: his wife Diane J. Costa (Knight); and his parents, John Costa and Annette Costa (Darisse). He is survived by: his sons, Mark Costa (Kelly Farias) of Beverly, Stephen Costa (Julie) of Beverly and David Costa (Adrienne) of Ipswich; his grandchildren, Meghan, Brett, Kevin, Hannah, Sean, Michael and Camilla; and his brother John Costa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's name to the Beverly Football Boosters, PO Box 246, Beverly, MA 01915.
