He was predeceased by : his parents, William McCarthy and Evelyn Corelli (Thompson). He is survived by : his wife Virginia McCarthy (Pitman); his daughters, Christine Spencer (Stewart) of Beverly and Robin Dance (Chuck) of Lunenburg; his grandchildren, Bryan, Anthony, Rachel Spencer and Abby Spencer Mitchell; his great grandchild Luke Spencer; and his sisters, Collen Tucker and Mary Olive Young (Raymond). He is also survived by his family and friends.
