He is survived by: his sister Sally; his wife Lilia Carey (Lee) of Beverly, MA; his children, Meghan Grabau (Alexander) of Framingham, MA, Patrick Carey (Elise Pelletier) of Portland, ME and Lily Carey (Robert Brasso) of Baltimore, MD; his siblings, Susan Carey (Steven O'Brien) of Holyoke, MA and Frederick Carey (Stephanie Forrest) of Scottsdale, AZ; and his grandchildren, Cyr, Julian Carey and Elle.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of his stalwart battle with Parkinson's Disease, donations can be made in Stephen's memory to NeighborGood Care in Marblehead, MA and the Gordon College Center for Balance, Mobility and Wellness in Wenham, MA.
